Biofortification – From Science to Society
Our Second Biofortification Hub Community Meeting “Biofortification – From Science to Society” is being organised by the University of Aberdeen Rowett Institute and will be held on 19th & 20th March 2026) in the Civic Rooms, Town House, Aberdeen AB101FY, Scotland, UK.
As we face several challenges to our food system, biofortification is a valuable solution.
This event brings together scientists, businesses, third sector organisations and broader members of the UK biofortification community including Early Career Researchers.
The conference is organised by the Rowett Institute and funded by the Biofortification Hub. This second community meeting will be focused on enabling knowledge exchange, networking, discussing challenges and future needs to improve nutrition and public health.
Abstracts for posters or talks are invited from academics, businesses or third-sector organisation until 21st December 2025. Please submit your 150-word abstract to rowett-reception@abdn.ac.uk stating whether you would prefer a poster or talk. Authors will be informed of acceptance by 16th January 2026.
